The festival kicks off with a city-wide garage sale weekend. Grab a map, fill the trunk with treasures, and warm up for a full slate of parades, fireworks and family fun.

Opening night brings live music at the Summer Fun Concert, a Mexican Fiesta community meal, the start of the Medallion Hunt, a Driveway Art Contest and a Puzzle Hunt — a relaxed, neighborly way to start the weekend.

The big one. Spread a blanket for live music and stay for fireworks bursting over Byron at dusk. Earlier in the day, kids will love the Big Truck Fair, plus Family Bingo Night, a kickoff kickball tourney and Beersbee at The Bears Den.
